All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

With a long, successful history, Savannah Signature Chefs Auction hosts the area’s finest chefs, caterers and/or local celebrity chefs as they present their signature dishes to guests. After enjoying the delicious samplings from local chefs and bidding on exciting silent auction items during the reception hour, guests will be seated and bid on a number of unique and fantastic live auction items. Auction packages may include fine dining, hotel and resort stays, weekend getaways, spa vacations and much more.

Gourmet Wine Dinner for 6 on The Whitman Yacht

Tony Seichrist and The Whitman Yacht have teamed up for an incredible experience.  Six guests will cruise the Savannah rivers on The Whitman Yacht with Tony as their private chef for dinner.  The Yacht is a custom 47’ ketch-rigged sailing vessel providing unique views of Savannah’s historic waterfront and other breathtaking sites, including saltwater marshes, a complex network of waterways, wildlife and protected natural barrier islands.  A three-hour cruise and a gourmet wine dinner with one of Savannah’s best chef’s and your closest friends will build memories for a lifetime. 

Three Course Dinner with Wine for 24 at Pacci

At Pacci, Chef Roberto Leoci utilizes the purest ingredients and age-old techniques to create soulful and sophisticated coastal Italian dishes. Following the Italian tradition of making food with what's available locally, Pacci sources products from their fine network of local farmers, fishermen and purveyors. You and your guests will savor a scrumptious three course dinner of Chef’s Leoci’s favorites paired with wine. This is sure to be an unforgettable experience with 23 of your guests enjoying the exciting food and comfortable atmosphere.  

Quail Hunt with Transportation, Dinner, and Wine for 4

The Dorchester Shooting Preserve spans 5,000 acres on the southeast Georgia coast and offers the finest in quail hunting. Dorchester supplements its own wild bird population seasonally, giving hunters the best flying birds possible. With years of hunting experience, your Dorchester guides possess the skills and know-how to ensure you have the highest quality experience. Your hunt will include two guides and hunt buggies to optimize your time in the field. Young, healthy, enthusiastic pointers and retrievers will make your day even more enjoyable as you walk along with agile hunters.

Once your day of quail hunting commences, you and your guests will enjoy an evening of delicious food and wine, prepared by Chef Chris Nelson. Chef Nelson has a background in Italian, French and coastal Southern cuisine with a touch of a Creole flair. He brings fine quality dining to Dorchester that you’ll surely enjoy after your hunt in the preserve. 

Backyard Oasis

 

Dreaming about a luxurious backyard oasis? Then this is the package for you.  Your backyard makeover begins with the installation of four beautiful copper up-lights with 300 watt stainless steel transformers by Full Moon Lighting. Next, six pallets of centipede sod will be delivered to your home by Greenblade Turf and Sod.  The Mosquito Authority will come and treat your backyard with two treatments and Peterson Custom Works will provide pressure washing service to help keep your backyard blissful.  You no longer have to just dream about having an HGTV-worthy backyard - we have all the pieces right here for you!
