All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.
The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.
We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide, and 1 million will die before their first birthday. Your gift helps the March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
The Signature Chefs Auction pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs and wineries as you taste a sampling of their "signature" dishes and bid on exciting packages during a live and silent auction. Live music enhances the culinary delights as you mingle with friends and colleagues and bid on fabulous, once-of-a-lifetime packages in the live and silent auction where funds raised support the March of Dimes mission: to improve the health of all babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. Your support is helping give every baby a healthy start in life. In addition, you'll taste fabulous dishes from restaurants like Copious, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Firebird's Wood Fired Grill, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Kona Grill,The Berwick, Tucci's, Refectory and more!
Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide. Liam Dalton is one of the 14,000 babies who are born too soon each year in Ohio. Born 15 weeks early on May 15, 2014 and weighing only 13 ounces Liam spent 230 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit before going home. Your gift could be the missing ingredient to help the March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Marlon Gammon, a Columbus native has had the great honor of working for many Columbus flagship dining establishments. Marlon has spent his time in hospitality with multiple Cameron Mitchell restaurants as well as the infamous Lindey’s American Bistro. Currently Marlon is a Managing Partner at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. "The journey towards Operational Excellence has led me here where we take pride in everything we do." Firebirds is located at Polaris Towne Center. It is an American Restaurant and Steakhouse serving authentic wood-fired steaks, seafood, specialty cocktails and select wines. Firebirds offer top notch service and upscale dining at a modest price. Marlon and his family reside in New Albany. When he is not spending time with them he enjoys having the opportunity on a daily basis to change people's lives and motivate those around him to be better. Marlon would like to take a moment and thank The March of Dimes and the 24th Annual Signature Chef's Committee for allowing him the distinguished honor to be this year's Restaurant Chair where we partner with the Community and many great businesses in Central Ohio to give every baby a fighting chance through our efforts of Advocacy, Research, Education and Support.
