All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

Join us for the 2016 March of Dimes Signature Chefs, an event to raise funds for the campaign to end prematurity. The event is a culinary showcase, featuring Chicago's top culinary masters. This rare opportunity is made possible by participating chefs graciously donating their time and talent to create a food experience beyond any available at a single location in Chicago. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize the palette of even the savviest “foodie” and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively party atmosphere, guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing auction packages. 

Event schedule:
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.- Cocktail hour in Atlantic Foyer
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.- Tastings and mini-live auction
8:30 - 9:30 p.m.- Live program

Heads or Tails!
Back by popular demand, guests will have the opportunity to play Heads or Tails at the start of the live program.  Entries may be purchased for $50/person and will be sold throughout cocktail hour and the tastings portion of the evening.  At the start of the program, all Heads or Tails participants stand and will be asked by the emcee to choose heads or tails.  The emcee will toss a coin and those who chose correctly will remaining standing.  This continues until there is one final guest standing, who is deemed the winner.  This year's prize is a five-course chef's table experience for up to 6 people at Frontier.  The meal, prepared by Chef Brian Jupiter, is valued at $500 and is sure to be a memorable dining experience.
