All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

2016 Chairs Sue Zacharer and Brian Chapman and the event committee cordially invite you to the annual Signature Chefs Auction – Lowell. This year we are proud to be Honoring local artist Janet Lambert-Moore.

Janet Lambert-Moore has been an active part of the Lowell arts scene since the 1950's. Taking classes at the Whistler House in the late 1940's, she started on a path of art creation that has spanned over 60 years. Her oils, watercolors, pen and ink drawings, and murals can be found in collections and public buildings throughout the city of Lowell and beyond. She is a lifetime member of the Lowell Art Association, Inc.

Before pursuing her art career, Janet was an art teacher at Dracut High School for over 10 years. Janet has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Painting and Illustration, and a MEd. from State College at Salem. Signature Chefs Auction is a food-sampling extravaganza that pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs, caterers, restaurants, wineries, breweries and bakeries, while raising funds to support March of Dimes and its efforts to give every baby a healthy start at life.
