All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

Join us for the 2017 March of Dimes Signature Chefs, a benefit for babies, an event to raise funds for the campaign to end prematurity. The event is a culinary showcase, featuring Seattle’s top culinary masters. This rare opportunity is made possible by participating chefs graciously donating their time and talent to create a food experience beyond any available at a single location in Seattle. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize the palette of even the savviest “foodie” and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively part atmosphere and exiting entertainment, guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing silent and live auction packages.

6:00pm - Registration... opportunity to mix and mingle one-on-one with the chefs plus early tastings & cocktails
6:00pm - Signature Chef tasting stations open... with access to beverage vendors along with silent auction and other chance to win opportunities.
7:30pm - Signature dessert during live auction... featuring one-of-a-kind chef packages and unique Seattle experiences

The March of Dimes is leading the fight to tackle the vast problems of pre-term birth. Prematurity is one of the most significant health threats to moms and babies today. Prematurity leaves a devastating toll on Washington families and places a heavy financial burden on our health system.

-1 in 10 babies in Washington are born premature
-Prematurity is the leading cause of death amongst newborns
-Prematurity is a leading cause of lasting childhood disabilities
-It is estimated that the societal and economic costs of pre-term birth is $26.2 billion annually
