Signature Chefs Auction, Miami

2018 marks the 21st year of this premier event. It is an exclusive event benefiting the March of Dimes and has become one of the most exciting and exclusive fundraising events in South Florida! The three hour evening features the best of the best in dining with Chefs from our top dining establishments serving tastes of their favorite dishes. The gourmet sampling and silent auction, and live auction where guests can bid on unique packages featuring exclusive dining experiences, travel and more. The Signature Chefs Auction offers elegant surroundings, sumptuous food, corporate networking and fellowship.

Donations support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
 

A Letter From The Holtzman Family:

On March 28, 2013, the lives of Ryan and Sofia Holtzman were forever altered.  On that day, their babies, Luke and Gabrielle were born premature at 24 weeks, each weighing 1 lb 6 ounces.  For more than 121 days, the hospital team worked day and night to keep the twins alive by intubating each of them, giving blood transfusions on a regular basis, treating for various infections, testing for brain bleeds that could cause developmental disorders, all while doing their best to prevent blindness and deafness.

After 4 months in the NICU, Luke and Gabrielle were able to finally go home.  Miraculously, both are happy, beautiful and most important, healthy.  The twins are now 5 years old. Both are orange and yellow belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and play soccer.  Luke is on the golf team at school and Gabrielle is an amazing artist. 

Although Luke and Gabrielle are perfect, the Holtzmans understand that not every family has a happy memory of the NICU.  Since the day the twins were born, they have made it their mission to help families cope with the trauma of being in the NICU, so that they can have a happy and healthy outcome as well.
 

Nearly half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely or with birth defects each year.  Premature birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally.  Fund the Mission gifts are 100% tax deductible and direct contributions to help the March of Dimes advocate for policies that prioritize the health of moms and babies, fund scientific research at our Prematurity Research Centers, and provide resources and programs to help moms before, during and after pregnancy.  During the program, there will be an opportunity to make a Fund The Mission donation.
