All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

Signature Chefs Auction brings together top local chefs showcasing their culinary masterpieces, a generous sampling of fine wines, fabulous entertainment and a lively auction featuring one-of-a–kind packages and you’ve got a perfect recipe for the Altoona Signature Chefs Auction event. This event helps raise important funds for the March of Dimes.

The Basic Ingredients - 20 of Central PA’s premier restaurants and chefs will present their signature dishes in a tasting size during a reception. Guests are invited to bid on a variety of packages during silent and live auctions. Packages may include fine dining, hotel/resort stays, priceless experiences and much more. Signature Chefs Auctions are held in more than 200 cities nationwide and over 100,000 corporate and social community leaders attend.

6:00 p.m.   Tasting, Reception & Silent Auction Opens, Golden Ticket Raffle, Spin to Win, People' Choice
8:00 p.m.   Chef Recognition, Medical Honoree, Program, Fund the Mission & Live Auction 
9:00 p.m.   Conclusion
