All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

Join us for the 2019 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction, a benefit for babies, an event to raise funds for the campaign to end prematurity. The event is a culinary tastebud extravaganza of Chefs and beverage vendors from all over Seattle and Western Washington. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize your palate and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively party atmosphere, guests will enjoy delicious cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing  live auction packages.

Enjoy the Tastes of Seattle 
5:00pm - Registration... opportunity to mix and mingle one-on-one with guests and enjoy our raffles, wine pull and more.
6:00pm - Signature Chef tasting stations open... work the room and fill your belly with delicious food and beverages.
7:00pm - Signature dessert during live auction... featuring one-of-a-kind chef packages and unique Seattle experiences

March of Dimes is leading the fight to tackle the vast problems of preterm birth. Prematurity is one of the most significant health threats to moms and babies today. Prematurity leaves a devastating toll on Washington families and places a heavy financial burden on our health system.

-1 in 10 babies in Washington is born prematurely
-Prematurity is the leading cause of death amongst newborns
-Prematurity is a leading cause of lasting childhood disabilities
-It is estimated that the societal and economic costs of pre-term birth are $26.2 billion annually
