As the leading organization working to improve the health and wellness of women and babies, March of Dimes recognizes Scharrell for her outstanding commitment, advocacy, encouragement, and service to women as a catalyst for change. She is an outspoken champion of diversity, authenticity, and inclusion who has broken new ground and traditional barriers.

March of Dimes Champion Award is given to individuals, innovators, influencers, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated an ability to make a substantial difference and positive impact in the lives of others and their communities. We honor these Champions for exemplary leadership and outstanding capacity to effect change through education, community service, commitment, influence, and charitable contributions.
