Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

March of Dimes is proud to announce the return of the beloved St. Louis Signature Chefs Auction that celebrates our local moms and babies alongside philanthropic leaders and top culinary talent at the Tastiest Event in Town on Thursday, September 25th! 

For 85 years March of Dimes has been funding research, providing education and programming, and advocating for vital health equity to create a world where every family, mom and baby are healthy, regardless of wealth, race, gender or geography.  Your support helps March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs so that every mom and baby gets the best possible start. 

Dress Code is Semi - Formal.

March of Dimes Signature Chefs adds a little flavor to fundraising by bringing guests together alongside St. Louis' most talented chefs, to support the health of moms and babies. For more information about sponsorship opportunities and how to get involved, contact Daria Root or Suzie Voss.

Celebrating our Hero for Babies - Dr. Andrew White

As the Robert W. Wilmott Endowed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and Pediatrician-in-Chief at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, Dr. White has dedicated his career to improving the lives of children, especially those facing complex and rare medical conditions.

Dr. White’s commitment to children’s health extends beyond his academic and clinical roles. He has been a driving force behind numerous initiatives, including his work as Event Chair of the St. Louis Signature Chefs Auction for two years (2023/20424), a key fundraising event that supports local infant and maternal health programs. His leadership has been instrumental in raising awareness and funds for vital research and medical advancements in pediatric/infant care.

We look forward to celebrating Dr. White at our 2025 Signature Chefs Auction!
