All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
Free virtual NICU support program for families
Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

Teaming up and batting 100%, Karben4 and The Madison Mallards are presenting and hosting this year’s Signature Chefs Auction as a Drive-In Movie. Knowing the importance of March of Dimes Mission and the critical funds raised at the annual Chefs Auction, this team is hitting a homerun event with a private dinner tasting and a Movie to benefit March of Dimes. Presenting a Drive-in Family style event at Warner Park, the featured movie is Ratatouille. A dynamic, drive-in movie with car-side service to taste the stations of the local flavors, will be topped off with a personalized Ratatouille dish created by Naples15. The event will include a Silent Auction, and a compelling Inter-“Mission” appeal to support March of Dimes by funding the mission. We invite you to join us to support moms and babies and the programs that are occurring in our county.

ARMONI'S ARMY

Did you know that 10 percent of women in the United States have difficulty getting pregnant? Women are told every day that their dream of having children will not happen due to their own medical conditions. My name is Emily, and I am one of those women. From an early age, I was told I would never have the opportunity to have a child of my own and by the age of 20, I had been diagnosed with spontaneous infertility. After enduring every painful test and treatment under the sun done to receive answers and why this was happening to me, all results were inconclusive. At 25 years old, I had finally made peace with my diagnosis and that biological children just were not in my future. I took time to focus on my health, wellness and stress while improving all the relationships I was invested in. During my personal grown, I met my partner in crime Shamond, then come full circle one year later, we received some VERY unexpected and exciting news, and I was in fact, pregnant! After hearing for so long that bearing a child would never be possible in my body, it was a miracle and I was ecstatic! The Journey did not end there, and I am blessed to be here to share my story with you and support March of Dimes, join me and help me reach my goal of $2,800 to represent the 28 weeks gestation that Armoni was born!
