EVENT DETAILS
While how we are coming together has changed, we can still make a real difference for moms and babies, at a time when they need us the most.
We are following CDC guidelines to avoid mass gatherings and are rapidly preparing for an exciting, new format for our March of Dimes Signature Chefs experience.
The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Auction community are coming together in new, innovative ways to support moms and babies this year.
Data show that the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations in the world for childbirth.1 Over 700 women die each year from pregnancy-related causes, and the CDC reports that 60 percent are preventable. The preterm birth rate is on the rise. Two babies die every hour in the United States.
By joining our Signature Chefs community you are making a big difference.
Your support of March of Dimes helps fund:
- Free virtual NICU support program for families
- Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
- COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
- Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
- Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
- Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks
- and so much more!

Meet our 2020 Honorary Chef, Aaron Miliman
My name is Aaron Miliman and being a chef is in my blood. I am a Baltimore local, born and raised in Reisterstown, MD and I attended Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School from kindergarten up through 12th grade. I began my culinary career at a very young age, learning from my father Richard Miliman, who managed various hotels around the Baltimore area as an Executive Chef and taught me much of what I know today. I started my professional career about nine years ago at Linwoods in Owings Mills, Maryland. After climbing the ranks at Linwoods, I found a promising career with the Stonebridge Restaurant group. I completed my training at Barrett’s Grill in Hunt Valley, afterward I became the Executive Chef of Glyndon Grill. I live in Baltimore Count with my beautiful fiancée, Sarah, and two amazing Pitbulls, Baker and Max. I am honored to represent Stonebridge Restaraunt group for this event with the March of Dimes and am excited to help bring more awareness to their mission.
Fund The Mission
Nearly half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely or with birth defects each year. Premature birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally. Fund the Mission gifts are 100% tax deductible and direct contributions to help the March of Dimes advocate for policies that prioritize the health of moms and babies, fund scientific research at our Prematurity Research Centers, and provide resources and programs to help moms before, during and after pregnancy. Meet our 2020 Ambassador Family, the Grondalski's, whose story will be featured during our Virtual Event.
