All March of Dimes Signature Chefs events will be held virtually this year. While we may not be together in person, we rely on your continued support to provide innovative programs and services for moms, moms-to-be and babies who may be at a greater risk of becoming sick and not receiving proper or equitable care.

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

Corporate Chair
Ben Bissell, CBIZ

Ben Bissell is a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident who has advocated for a variety of local and national non-profit organizations through both his personal and professional lives. Ben has proudly served on the March of Dimes Executive Leadership Committee since 2019, and is honored to chair this year’s Chefs Auction event.

For the past 22 years, Ben has worked for CBIZ, Inc., a leading national provider of accounting, insurance and advisory services. He spent more than a decade as the company’s director of real estate and vendor management and in 2017, moved into a role of senior vice president for CBIZ Retirement Plan Services (CBIZ RPS). Ben’s leadership skills and tenacity to excel have led to his current position of Chief of Staff for CBIZ RPS. Throughout his career at CBIZ, Ben has been known as a company ambassador for community involvement. He has served on CBIZ’s local United Way campaign committee, strongly supported the office’s annual food drive and most notably, has served for five years as CBIZ’s team captain for the annual VeloSano Bike to Cure. 

As an avid supporter of his local community, Ben served on the committee for Mayfield Schools’ Green Tie Gala, a major fundraiser for the school system. Over his four-year tenure on the committee, Ben has helped the Mayfield School district raise money for the STEM2M program,  Mayfield Innovation Center, collaborative learning spaces throughout the district, a STEM Mobile Learning Bus, and an enhanced Performing Arts Center. 

Ben resides in Highland Heights with his wife, Gina. The couple has two children, Michael and Megan.
