Corporate Chair
Brett Lindsey, CEO of Everstream & Founder of Snip
Brett Lindsey was named CEO of Everstream in 2014. Everstream is a network service provider headquartered in Cleveland that has invested over a billion dollars since 2015 to grow from a Northeast Ohio only focused business to a super-regional provider with 25,000 route miles across 10 states through a series of acquisitions and greenfield fiber builds. In 2018, Brett facilitated the sale of Everstream to AMP Capital, a global investment manager headquartered in London. With this investment, Everstream has expanded its network into new markets, including Chicago, Columbus, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis, and announced strategic acquisitions in Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. Last year alone, the expansion resulted in a 50% growth in Everstream’s workforce.
Brett is also the Founder of Snip. Snip is a residential internet provider founded in 2015 to bring choice to downtown Cleveland apartment tenants. In 2020 Snip raised private equity to fund an expansion plan which allowed for Snip to complete an acquisition of Rocket Fiber in Detroit and build greenfield networks in Milwaukee and Columbus. Snip is focused on bringing choice to tenants living in urban areas across the Midwest.
Brett lives in Bratenahl with his wife Teresa. All of their 5 children call Northeast Ohio home. Brett is involved locally with the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Cleveland Metro Parks and the GCP Tech Board of Advisors.
Pellegrini Family
2021 Ambassador Family
Andrew and Adrian were born at 27 weeks 5 days. Andrew was 2lbs 13oz and Adrian was 2lbs 4oz. They were born early enough that we had yet to even settle on their names, so for the first couple days they were Pellegrini “A” and Pellegrini “B”.
Christine had what was considered a “normal” twin pregnancy and was healthy, exercising, taking her vitamins, and managing the stress of preparing our household for her first children to arrive for 27 weeks and 3 days of her pregnancy. Two days before the boys were born Christine started to not feel well and she knew something was off. Following her doctor’s suggestion, Christine took it easy that next day with rest but still knew something was not right. She ended up being admitted to the hospital for monitoring, which very quickly showed that she was in labor. She was given medication to stop the labor and when that was not working was given a corticosteroid to help the boys’ lungs stimulate surfactant release so they would be better prepared to breathe. Within just a couple hours the twins were born 19 minutes apart and were whisked off to the NICU.
Over the next few days Christine and Joe found that Andrew had suffered a Grade 3 Intraventricular Brain Hemorrhage (while in-utero), was in respiratory distress, had a large PDA in his heart, severe apnea spells, was intubated and placed on a ventilator. Adrian was also intubated and placed on a ventilator and had both kidney and bladder issues as well. Both he and Andrew were jaundiced and were under the bilirubin lights inside their isolettes. When Adrian’s weight dropped to below 2lbs in the first couple weeks, we realized how fragile they seemed but also how strong they actually were.
As the days became weeks they both had success and setbacks. With the expertise of the staff of doctors, nurses, and therapists in the NICU and the unwavering support of family and friends the boys really made progress. After 56 days in the NICU we were able to bring Adrian home and then we welcomed Andrew home after 69 days in the NICU.
Their journey was not over after leaving the NICU and the boys both had to work through and overcome medical and physical hurdles in their first few years. But as the years kept moving on and their “preemie” delays disappeared, they have grown into kind, caring and intelligent young men. They are both seniors in High School preparing for college, Andrew looking into Business and Adrian into Biology. Seeing them today, you would never know how challenging their start in this world was.
