Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

EVENT DETAILS

Join us for the 2022 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction of Montgomery, an event that will help level the playing field and build a brighter future for all as we work together to fight for the health of all moms and babies. This event is a culinary showcase, featuring Central Alabama's top culinary masters. This rare opportunity is made possible by participating chefs graciously donating their time and talent to create a food experience beyond any available at a single location in Central Alabama. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize the palette of even the savviest “foodie” and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively atmosphere and exciting entertainment, guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing auction packages.

Every year, more than 15 million babies are born prematurely and a million will die before their first birthday as a result. With your gift to the March of Dimes, you can help to fund the research, education, advocacy and support to ensure more babies celebrate their 1st birthday.

One local family that has experienced prematurity is The Washington Family. The Washington's are graciously serving as the Central Alabama 2022 Ambassador Family. You will have an opportunity to get to know the Washington's at the 2022 Signature Chefs of Montgomery - Feeding Motherhood and hear their story.

If you cannot make it to the event, you can still make a 100% tax-deductible donation to fund the mission and help March of Dimes continue to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies.
