Event description

The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

Beckett Yeackle was born on October 2, 2021 at 27 weeks and 1 day weighing only 555 grams.  He spent 112 days in the NICU and by the time he was released he was weighing 8 pounds.  It is because of the research and advances from the March of Dimes that Beckett is with us today.  Join us on October 6th to help raise funds for all moms, babies and families.

DINNER FOR 4 IN THE WINE ROOM AT GALLEY & GARDEN

Enjoy an incredible 4-course dinner for four (4) including two bottles of wine in the Wine Room at Galley & Garden. Wine will be paired with the main course and will be valued at $100 or more/each. The courses will consist of appetizer, salad, entree' and dessert of Chef's choosing.

DINNER FOR 10 AT THE FIG TREE

Private dinner for up to ten (10) guests with Executive Chef JP Holland at The Fig Tree in Cahaba Heights. Guests will arrive and be delighted by a full dinner by Chef JP and served by his skilled staff in the intimate setting of our dining rooms or enclosed patio. The restaurant will be all yours to enjoy and the full bar and wine list available. 

Must be held on a Sunday or Monday evening. 3 hours service guaranteed. Gratuity and alcohol not included, any purchase of alcoholic beverages will be subject to taxes. From our friends at The Fig Tree.
