Upon arrival, you will enjoy the chance to sample our chefs’ creations for a tasting experience before taking your seat for the Live Auction and Fund the Mission. Enjoy dessert while you bid on our unique packages, raising your paddle and giving generously to help babies.
EVENT LEADERSHIP
Thanks to the leadership of Dr. Jorge & Kerry Perez and the committee members, we are honored to present this Signature Chefs event. After months of hard work, these volunteers have taken the event to new heights. The March of Dimes and the families we support are grateful for the generosity and effort of the team that made this evening possible.
Dr. Perez is a respected healthcare leader who has been practicing medicine, teaching and conducting clinical research in the field of Neonatology for more than 25 years. As a co-founder of KIDZ Medical Services, Dr. Perez serves as the Medical Director of Neonatal and Newborn Services and oversees healthcare teams at 17 locations throughout South Florida. He is also co-founder of Air Medical Charters, LLC, a full-service air ambulance and executive charter transportation provider based in Miami, Florida. He and his wife Kerry are longtime Coral Gables residents and philanthropists. March of Dimes is an organization close to their hearts as Dr. Perez has made countless contributions to the health of mothers and babies throughout his career.

Daughter of a first-generation immigrant from Italy, Donatella Arpaia was raised in her father’s restaurant. After completing her law degree and passing the bar, she realized that she wanted to run restaurants and she knew she would never be happy outside the world of food. Dubbed the “Queen of New York City”, Donatella opened her first restaurant there over 25 years ago and has never looked back. She has become one of Food Network’s top celebrity chefs and head judges, and has appeared on the most episodes of Iron Chef America and the Next Iron Chef than any other person in the history of the shows. In 2018, Donatella and her family relocated to Miami. Most recently, she made headlines when she decided to bring her culinary expertise to Coral Gables, taking over both Redfish Grill and Forte. The mom of 3 holds a special place in her heart for March of Dimes, as her twins were born prematurely. She believes that all babies deserve a healthy start at life.
