We're celebrating a major milestone...85 years! Sunday, November 12 join March of Dimes AZ for their philanthropic fall fundraiser at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. FOX 10 anchor (and mommy of three), Desiree Fluellen will be your emcee for the evening. High profile chefs from around the Valley will be dishing out signature favorites to fight for the health of ALL moms and babies. Get your tickets here.

Hear how March of Dimes is making a difference on a local level. November is Prematurity Awareness Month and we'll introduce you to a family who navigated NICU life after having a baby at 24 weeks. Let their story serve as inspiration to move the needle for moms and babies during Fund-the-Mission.

Over time March of Dimes mission has evolved, from pioneering research for premature babies to growing NICU programs and advocating for change on a local and national level.

Our amazing mission family for 2023 has been a long time supporter of March of Dimes AZ. In 2014, Paula Piccoli went into preterm labor at 24 weeks. Her daughter, Laila was born a micropreemie weighing only one pound six ounces at birth. Doctors prepped the Piccoli's for a bleak outcome while the family clinged to hope.

During the first 60 days Laila couldn't breathe on her own and had heart surgery when she was only 18 days old. For months, The Piccoli's navigated NICU life at St. Joseph's hospital. Laila was strong enough to come home 115 days later. 

March of Dimes lifesaving prematurity research played a big role in Laila's survival. Today she's living her best life and The Piccoli's continue to pay it forward to other NICU families through March of Dimes. The goal is symbolic, $8,500 for 85 years. Help them reach their goal, right here. 
 

Our Heroes in Action nomination process has closed.
Finalists will be announced in October and the top three in each category will be honored November 12th at Signature Chefs Gala taking place at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Stay tuned!
