Introducing the 2024 Ambassador Family
In 2016, Vivian and Pete were overjoyed to learn they were expecting twin boys. However, their joy quickly turned to heartbreak when Vivian unexpectedly went into preterm labor at just 20 weeks gestation. Despite efforts to stop the labor, they sadly lost their two boys, Nicholas David and Christian Michael, on June 23, 2016, at just 22 weeks gestation. After navigating several losses and high-risk pregnancies, Vivian and Pete have since welcomed their son, Nicholas Christian, named in honor of his brothers, and later Theodore “Teddy” James.
Their journey has fueled a deep a passion for March of Dimes mission of preventing preterm birth, and ensuring that preemies not only survive but thrive. Vivian has joined March of Dimes Board of Directors and is serving on the Signature Chefs Host Committee to honor the memory of her babies and support families facing similar challenges. By sharing her story, Vivian aims to bring hope and healing to others experiencing infertility and infant loss.
